A cyclist encounters some ponies standing in the sun while riding across the New Forest from Christchurch to Southampton.

Here at the seaward end of Hythe Pier a cyclist waits for the ferry across the Solent to Southampton’s Town Quay. The oil-tank car is used to carry fuel to the Hythe ferries along the pier’s famous railway.

Disguise Ltd, the company moving into the offices would like to encourage as many of their employees to cycle as possible. Their current premises has bike storage nearby, and are hoping that they can retain and even grow the number of employees who cycle to work. Having secure bike storage would hugely influence the number of people who cycle. There are currently around 90 employees who will be moving into the office in January. This will also benefit the new tenants of the apartments.

There has been a continuous set of stationary cars jusy dumped there just for the sole purpose of advertising a Cash 4 Cars service. As soon as the car is removed another one takes it place. Why not replace it with bike parking since it's not taking up a useful parking space. It would benefit the residents of Pomeroy Street as we live in flats and few have secure storage for bikes. My neighbours would take advantage of it. The others nearby are all full or for other estates.
